The Embodi Approach

Helping you build confidence, creativity, and healthy lifestyle.

Pole has real health benefits!

In 2024, I conducted a Pole Research Survey to determine the primary outcomes of pole fitness activities.

Over 300 survey responses from pole fitness participants were collected and analyzed.

The results showed several positive impacts on health and wellness.

Key Outcomes

  • 90% experienced increased in confidence

  • 84% noticed improved strength & body composition

  • 85% reported an improvement in mood/mental health

  • 87.5% had improved self-esteem

  • 81% reported better mind/body connection

The adaptation and use of pole as a mainstream fitness tool is relatively new in the context of organized sports/activities.

We Believe

The right movement routine can transform your life.

Kick the Excuses to the Curb!

I’ll lose weight first and then try it.

Results rarely happen before action. The act of showing up promotes a healthy lifestyle. All body shapes and sizes can enjoy this sport. Most students notice changes in strength and confidence within 3-4 classes.

I have no upper body or core strength.

It is not needed! We build on this in classes. That is where the word “fitness” applies. Pole is a real workout that burns calories and sculpts muscles.

There is no way I can move like that!

There are so many variations and class types to explore. Some are more acrobatic and calisthenics based, others include dance and creative movement.

You get to choose the classes that resonate and go at your own pace.

Kick the Excuses to the Curb!

I am afraid of heights.

That is okay. You can stay grounded. Only a few classes require any movement up the pole, and no pressure to take them.

I don’t feel comfortable bearing skin in classes.

Come as you are. Your very first pole classes won’t require skin contact for safety. As a coach, I observe students get more comfortable and more confident after a few classes.

Isn’t pole for strippers?

It is true that strippers and circus artists were the original pioneers of pole dance. Personally, I am very thankful or I wouldn’t be able to enjoy it myself or grow this community.

As pole has gained popularity, its applications have too. It is now considered a professional sport and many competitions are held worldwide to recognize the artistry and physical demand of the sport.
